About the Role

As a Business Development Associate at XePlatform, you will work closely with the founders, sales, and marketing teams to drive business growth. You will play a key role in lead generation, market research, sales outreach, proposal creation, and nurturing prospective clients across AI, cloud, Kubernetes, and platform engineering domains.

Key Responsibilities

Generate and qualify leads through LinkedIn, email outreach, cold calling, and networking

Build and maintain sales pipelines and CRM records

Conduct market research on AI, cloud, DevOps, platform engineering, and enterprise technology trends

Assist in creating sales proposals, presentations, and client documentation

Support sales funnel management and lead nurturing activities

Coordinate meetings, demos, and follow-ups with prospects

Attend conferences, webinars, meetups, and industry networking events

Identify partnership and collaboration opportunities

Make outbound phone calls and follow up with inbound inquiries

Work with automation tools to streamline outreach and lead tracking

Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns and growth initiatives

Track competitor activities and industry developments

Required Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Interest in sales, business development, and technology

Understanding of sales funnels and lead generation processes

Comfortable with cold outreach and phone conversations

Ability to create professional proposals and presentations

Familiarity with CRM and sales automation tools is a plus

Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment

Good research and analytical skills

Basic understanding of AI, cloud, SaaS, or DevOps concepts is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, IT, or related field

0–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing

Experience with LinkedIn outreach, email marketing, or CRM tools is preferred

Passion for startups, AI, cloud technologies, or platform engineering
