Travel - Austin only – or those who will relo there. It could be up to 50% depending on client requirements – ex: go to client site for 6 weeks or 8 weeks. Could be shorter. Depends on clients. These roles might help with demos or requirements gathering from clients. Strong emphasis on mentoring junior team members.

Consultant level 8 - $100K-$110K, Bonus structure closer to 10%

Software Engineering professionals work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle to analyze, design, build, test, implement and/or maintain multiple system components or applications for Client or our clients.

Job Description

Client professionals design, implement and deploy packaged software solutions that have been developed to accommodate unique P&PES industry business and management processes, regulatory requirements and other business needs.

Adapts existing methods and procedures to create alternative solutions to moderately complex problems. Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals. Uses own judgment to determines optimal solution to recommend. Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor or teams leads. Generally, interacts with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Client. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with minimal guidance. Decisions often impact the team in which they reside and occasionally impact other teams. Manages medium-small sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Client.

Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

1 Overall software engineering experience 8+ years

2. Minimum 5+ years’ experience software development using server side technologies (e.g.: Java, Spring or similar frameworks)

3 Minimum 2+ years’ experience in building REST APIs

4 2+ years of building cloud applications, Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) using at least one of the following platforms: AWS, MS Azure, Cloud Foundry.

5. Minimum 2+ years’ experience deploying applications for high availability, clustering and resiliency

Preferred Skill Requirements

6 API Gateways experience

7 Experience in messaging and integration technologies and components:

8oEvent driven architecture, Messaging technologies. (e.g. JMS, rabbitMQ, SQS, AMQP etc).

9 Familiarity with large data storage & processing technologies:

10oNoSQL, Hadoop, Spark etc... experience

11 Experience building SW products for scale from ground up

12 Experience working in continuous delivery environment
