Job description*:
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft professional with strong expertise in development and support, particularly in job scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with onsite teams and ensure seamless application performance.
#Mandatory skills:
• Strong hands-on experience with PeopleCode (component/interface programming, validations, events),
Application Engine (AE) (batch processes, SQL/Do While/Do Select programming), Integration Broker (IB) (service operations, queues, routings, handlers, messages), SQR (reporting and batch processes,Interface Development (file-based and service-based integrations)
• Experience with Process Scheduler, batch scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting failed processes/jobs. Ability to write and optimize SQL for Oracle/SQL Server; data validation across PeopleSoft tables and views. Develop and maintain shell scripts for batch automation, file transfers, and job orchestration.
• System/batch monitoring, incident analysis, root cause identification, and resolution. Debugging PeopleCode, AE traces, IB message logs, SQR logs, and performance tuning. Prepare and maintain functional & technical specifications, job runbooks, and support SOPs.
