The Math Teacher will provide high-quality instruction aligned with Ohio Learning Standards and will use student data to support academic growth.
The teacher will work closely with grade-level teams, intervention staff, special education staff, instructional coaches, and school leadership to support student achievement.
Teaching Responsibilities The Math Teacher will: * Support the school’s mission, philosophy, values, goals, and policies with students, parents/guardians, and coworkers.
* Plan and deliver effective math lessons aligned with Ohio Learning Standards.
* Use developmentally appropriate curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessments to support student learning.
* Use data from classroom assessments, i-Ready, progress monitoring, and other school assessments to guide instruction.

* Help students understand classroom rules, procedures, and expectations.
* Provide students with academic support, examples, guidance, encouragement, and positive feedback.

* Monitor and support student behavior according to school-approved procedures.
* Become familiar with student IEP goals and accommodations and support implementation in the classroom.
