Business Development Manager Inside Sales & Office Operations Manager Kolkata Elder-care and wellness services

A Kolkata-based elder-care and wellness services start-up. They are currently in the process of strengthening their on-ground operations and are looking to engage a reliable to hire a hands-on Business Development Manager and Office Operations Manager for their Kolkata operations.

The roles are focused on:

• Business development and partnerships

• Lead generation and client engagement

• On-ground execution and relationship management

• Working closely with founders in an early-stage environment

They are specifically looking for candidates with prior experience in services, healthcare, wellness, or client-facing roles, and who are comfortable working in a growing, execution-driven organization. They would like to know if you are willing to work with them.

Post:Business Development manager

Eligibility criteria:

A. Experience & Background

a. 4–6 years in sales / business development / partnerships

b. Experience in healthcare, home care, insurance, wellness, real estate services, or community services

c. A minimum of 2 years of work in Kolkata

d. Evidence of revenue or target ownership

e. Experience handling medium term sales cycles / relationship-based selling

B. Market & Network Exposure

a. Familiarity with hospitals, clinics, senior groups, NGOs, or housing societies in Kolkata

b. Experience working with families / high-trust customers

c. NRI or overseas client exposure (good-to-have)

C. Tools & Systems

a. Experience with CRM tools

b. Lead tracking / pipeline management

c. WhatsApp / digital lead handling

D. Language and Communication

a. Fluent English (professional level)

b. Comfortable in Bengali (conversational to fluent)

c. Working knowledge of Hindi

d. Clear, empathetic speaking style

E. Sales Cycle Management

a. Has owned end-to-end sales cycle before

b. Has managed monthly/quarterly targets

F. Partnership Development

a. Has built referral/partner networks

b. Experience working with institutions

c. Can negotiate and maintain partnerships

d. Understands mutual value creation

G. Market and Customer Understanding

a. Can describe Kolkata senior-care ecosystem

b. Knows major hospitals / diagnostics / housing areas

c. Understands family decision dynamics

d. Experience dealing with elderly customers

e. Believes in dignity-focused elder care

f. Willing to travel locally
