WebMethods Developer (W2 only)

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as a WebMethods Developer.

Strong proficiency with WebMethods Integration Server, Designer, and flow services development.

Hands-on experience with WebMethods Adapters (e.g., JDBC, Flat File, SAP).

Knowledge of WebMethods API Gateway.

Solid understanding of SOAP and REST web services, XML, XSD, and JSON.

Experience with database concepts and SQL.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Position Description:

This position requires someone to be in a hybrid office work setting in Columbus, OH.

CGI is looking for a skilled WebMethods Developer to design, develop, and implement integration solutions using the Software AG WebMethods suite. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various components of the WebMethods platform, including Integration Server, Universal Messaging, and API Gateway.

This role is essential for connecting our diverse applications and ensuring data flows smoothly across the enterprise.

Future Duties and Responsibilities:

Development & Implementation:

Design, develop, and test integration solutions using WebMethods Integration Server.

Create and maintain flow services, Java services, and other components to facilitate data transformation and routing.

Work with various adapters (e.g., JDBC, SAP, Mainframe) to connect to different systems and databases.

Implement robust error handling and logging mechanisms within integration solutions.

API & Service Management:

Design and implement APIs using the WebMethods API Gateway for internal and external consumption.

Secure APIs using policies for authentication, authorization, and threat protection.

Manage and version API assets within the API Gateway.

Administration & Maintenance:

Deploy and configure WebMethods assets across different environments (Dev, QA, Prod).

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WebMethods services, integrations, and performance.

Monitor the health of the WebMethods environment and ensure high availability.
