This is an exciting opportunity to work in a remote-first, hands-on role where you’ll design and support highly reliable virtualization and cloud environments for mission-critical customers. You’ll be a technical owner across Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft Azure platforms, solving complex infrastructure challenges end to end. This role offers strong visibility, customer interaction, and the chance to influence architecture and operational maturity. In this role, you’ll act as a senior technical resource responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting modern on-prem and cloud-integrated infrastructure. You’ll partner closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing environments, while mentoring junior engineers and driving best practices across monitoring, patching, and automation.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Design, implement, and support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments, including StoreFront and NetScaler/ADC where applicable

Administer and maintain Microsoft Azure services, hybrid identity, and core infrastructure platforms

Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and performance troubleshooting across compute, storage, and networking layers

Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, lifecycle management, and create clear technical documentation and runbooks

The Ideal Candidate

7+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure administration

Strong hands-on expertise with Citrix environments, including design, support, and troubleshooting

Solid experience with Microsoft Azure, including core services, networking, IAM, and monitoring

Advanced knowledge of Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and hybrid identity

Strong Windows Server administration skills and experience with patching and system upgrades

Practical networking knowledge (VLANs, routing basics, firewalls, load balancers) and ability to collaborate with network teams

Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure and communicate clearly in a remote, customer-facing environment

Reasons to Love It

Remote-first role with meaningful, hands-on technical ownership

Exposure to modern cloud, virtualization, and enterprise infrastructure technologies

Opportunity to mentor others and help shape operational best practices

Work in regulated healthcare environments where reliability and impact truly matter
