Job Title: Mainframe Developer

Location: Columbus OH/ Wilmington DE/ Minneapolis MN

Contract to hire

Required skills:

o Working in Mainframe Environment: IBM z/OS systems and associated utilities/tools (e.g., CICS, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, File-AID, Abend-Aid,)

o Mainframe Tools: CA7 (Scheduling), Endeavor, REXX and Easytrieve

o Hand on experience with CA7 scheduler job automation

o Hands on experience debugging independently

o Extensive hands-on working experience with mainframe systems

o Strong understanding of batch job processes

o Hands on experience in creating modern tech stack automation frameworks

o COBOL development

o Experience with REXX, SORT utilities, and creating JCL’s

o Analyze user and business requirements and translate them into technical design specifications.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analysts, testers, operations) throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

o Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and production incidents in a timely manner.

• DB2, VSAM, IMS DB/DC (experience may vary by company).

• Ability to work at enterprise level and communicate in large forums

• Strong analytical and communication skills
