Position Details

Location: Oxon Hill, MD (must be able to reliably work this site)

Schedule: Weekends, 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Status: Part-Time

Pay: $27.00 per hour

Additional Opportunities: Potential for overtime and additional shifts at other sites

Oxon Hill coverage is required; additional site opportunities may be available based on performance and availability.

About the Role

As an Armed Protective Services Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires professionalism, strong judgment, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Observe and report all incidents and irregularities

Provide a visible, professional armed security presence

Conduct routine patrols and monitor assigned areas

Respond promptly and effectively to incidents or emergencies

Complete detailed and accurate incident reports

Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and clients

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of security or protective services experience (required)

Must reside in or near Oxon Hill, MD

Valid Maryland Guard Card

Valid Maryland Handgun Permit (Wear & Carry Permit)

Strong observational and decision-making skills

Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills

High level of integrity, reliability, and accountability
