As a Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operation running at peak performance. You’ll work closely with production, facilities, and shipping to plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance activities that ensure our equipment and infrastructure stay reliable, efficient, and safe.

Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor supports the Maintenance Manager by coordinating daily maintenance operations and developing job and safety plans to improve workforce productivity. This role acts as a liaison between maintenance, production, facilities, and shipping to plan, estimate, and schedule maintenance work while ensuring parts and materials are available for timely completion.

Responsibilities

Analyze and investigate work order requests

Plan maintenance work, estimate time and resources, and schedule planned jobs

Ensure parts, materials, and tools are requisitioned and available before job execution

Oversee ATMI preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for plant, vehicles, facilities, and trailers

Assist in planning and scheduling shutdowns, new equipment installations, and overhauls

Track and report performance metrics to monitor maintenance efficiency and plant reliability

Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs of production equipment as needed

Supervise maintenance employees and assign work priorities

Participate in regular safety meetings and enforce all safety policies

Ensure adherence to Preventive Maintenance and Shutdown Schedule programs

Maintain oil sample analysis program; record, evaluate, and recommend repairs or replacement

Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs

Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for required maintenance and service

Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment safely and effectively

Identify faulty operations or defective materials and report issues promptly

Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

Thorough knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and automated equipment

Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude

Excellent computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred

Environment and Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift and move up to 75 pounds regularly

Frequent climbing of ladders and scaffolding

Regular exposure to outdoor elements including heat, humidity, cold, and dust

Must adhere to company PPE and safety requirements at all times
