Estimator - Industrial Construction

Location: Clute, TX

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 7AM-5PM; Friday 7AM-11AM

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to support industrial construction projects across petrochemical, oil & gas, and related markets.

As an Estimator at our Clute, TX Headquarters, you will be responsible for developing complete proposals from RFQ through submission, including cost, technical, and commercial components. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical estimating experience and is comfortable working in both conceptual and detailed phases.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare complete cost estimates and proposals (conceptual through detailed)

Review RFQs, specifications, and bid documents

Perform quantity takeoffs for civil, concrete, piping, structural steel, and equipment

Develop labor and material pricing using historical data and unit rates

Coordinate subcontractor and vendor pricing

Support schedule development, execution planning, and risk analysis

Attend pre-bid meetings and interface with clients

Present estimates internally and to clients as needed

Required Skills:

5+ years of in depth mechanical/industrial estimating experience

Experience in petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial construction

Strong understanding of piping, civil, structural, and mechanical scopes

Experience with Sage/Timberline or similar estimating software

Strong Excel skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

Experience with design-build or integrated project delivery
