Financial Control Supervisor
Description:
Roadworthy International is a one stop shop for quality tires at affordable prices. We are currently looking to hire one (1) full-time (30-40 hours per week) Financial Control Supervisor to join our team of professionals. The successful candidate will be working in-person from our office in Mississauga.
Duties & Responsibilities:
·Supervise, coordinate, and review the operations and daily work of 3-5 staff members responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and financial documentation.
·Examine, verify, and authorize the accuracy of financial transactions, routine payments, credits, payroll entries, and supporting documents in accordance with company policies and Canadian regulatory requirements.
·Monitor cash flow, operating expenses, vendor payments, and budget performance, and prepare internal financial and operational reports for management review and business planning.
·Resolve work-related issues, discrepancies, and system errors, and prepare progress, compliance, and performance reports as required.
·Coordinate accounting activities with other departments and external service providers, including accountants and auditors, to ensure timely reporting and compliance.
·Identify training needs, provide coaching and support to staff, and ensure consistent application of company policies and financial procedures.
·Ensure the effective operation of professional software and financial systems, coordinate troubleshooting, arranging maintenance or upgrades when required.
Requirements:
- Work experience: 1 year of relevant work experience is preferred
- Language: English.
- Education: College diploma.

- Salary: $36 to $40 hourly (to be negotiated).
