Workday Extend Integration Developer Consultant

As a Workday Extend Integrations Developer Consultant, you will play a crucial role in:

Designing, building, and supporting testing for Workday Extend applications tailored to client specifications, ensuring all functional, security, technical, performance, quality, and operational aspects are considered through to deployment.

Leading client discovery sessions and design assessments to effectively translate client requirements using Workday’s cloud platform, focusing on Extend, integrations, and custom reporting in Human Capital Management, Financials, Supply Chain, and Student functional areas.

Contributing to Accenture's Workday Extend Community of Practice, enhancing our development and delivery processes globally.

Facilitating design sessions with vendors (both internal and external) to adhere to overall project timelines and deliverables.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to fulfill client goals during the Workday Extend deployment, emphasizing the application's usability, functionality, and performance.

Utilizing an innovative mindset to design Extend solutions aimed at addressing complex business challenges for our clients.

Required qualifications:

Workday Extend Certification and Studio Certification.

At least 2 years of consulting experience, preferably in a Workday Extend developer role.

At least 1 year of practical Workday Extend experience, including Workday Extend Model Level Components, PMD Scripting, Orchestrations, Studio, EIB, and third-party coding support.

A minimum of 2 years of US and/or Global Workday implementation experience, emphasizing Workday Extend/Cloud platform knowledge.

A minimum of 2 years of experience with web service technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML), along with scripting skills in JavaScript, Java, or Python, and a broader understanding of API First architecture.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 6 years' work experience); if holding an associate's degree, a minimum of 4 years' equivalent work experience is required.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in leading implementation teams, particularly with Platform-as-a-Service or custom web applications, ideally involving Workday solutions in Human Capital Management, Financials, Supply Chain, or Student areas.

Workday Orchestrate Certification.

Workday HCM or FINs core certification.

Demonstrated experience in design and development roles, delivering coded applications to a production environment.

Understanding the functional-technical interaction points across the Workday platform, especially in Human Capital Management, Finance, Supply Chain, or Student.

Aptitude to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt to frequent changes.

A proven ability to grasp not just technical components but also application design and a product-oriented mindset for Workday Extend App development.

Skills in problem-solving with a creative and analytical approach, plus familiarity with tools like Excel, Visio, MS Project (or equivalent), and PowerPoint.
