Wealth Advisor - REMOTE
Role Overview
The Wealth Advisor role is a foundational position shaping the future of wealth management through a fintech lens. This is a high-impact role for experienced advisors who want autonomy, ownership, and the ability to influence how modern wealth management is delivered.
In this role, you will actively manage high-net-worth client relationships and portfolios, grow a portable book of business, and deliver comprehensive financial planning solutions.
You will also collaborate closely with Product Development and M&A teams to help shape advisor
technology, attract top advisors to the platform, and support onboarding and training.
What You’ll Do
Client & Portfolio Management
• Develop and manage long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients
• Gather and analyze client data to define financial goals and planning needs
• Advise on investment strategy, tax planning, retirement planning, estate planning, insurance,
charitable giving, stock options, and risk management
• Design, implement, and monitor customized investment portfolios and asset allocations
• Identify potential financial gaps and proactively guide clients with clear financial plans
Business Development
• Grow your practice through qualified high-net-worth prospects
• Support firm-wide business development initiatives
• Maintain and transition an existing, portable book of business
Collaboration & Platform Impact
• Work with third-party tax, trust & estate, and insurance partners
• Provide feedback to Product Development on advisor and client pain points
• Support M&A and advisor recruiting efforts
• Help train and mentor new advisors joining the platform
What We’re Seeking
Must Have
• 5+ years of investment advisory experience
• Active, portable book of business
• Series 65 or Series 7 + 66 (or equivalent)
• Experience working with high-net-worth clients
• Interest in fintech and modern advisor platforms
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
• Experience at a technology or fintech company
• BS or MS in an analytical or technical discipline
• Experience advising clients with $1M+ in assets
• Deep expertise in at least one area of financial planning
• Experience with financial planning software
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
