Work Model : Fully onsite

Schedule : Monday to Friday

Hours : Full-time

Project-based hours as required

Ability to commute/relocate

Must be able to reliably commute to project sites in and around Florence, SC

Open to relocation and limited regional travel as needed

Position Summary

The Superintendent supports field operations on a freestanding cancer center project in Florence, SC. This role works closely with a traveling Superintendent and assists with day- to-day jobsite execution, including subcontractor coordination, schedule adherence, quality control, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing construction of a freestanding, three-story cancer center (approximately 60,000 SF)

Support the traveling Superintendent with daily field operations

Coordinate subcontractors and monitor schedule adherence

Help enforce jobsite safety standards and quality requirements

Communicate field updates to the project team

Address on-site issues and escalate as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

5–10 years of commercial construction experience

Healthcare construction experience preferred

Strong field leadership and coordination skills

Team-oriented mindset with ability to follow direction from senior Superintendent

Comfort working in a support role on active construction sites

Firm Support & Structure

Oversight from a traveling Superintendent

Support from project management and safety teams

Established construction processes and reporting structure
