Senior Programmatic Media Specialist
Our global financial services client is seeking a Senior Programmatic Media Specialist with extensive programmatic trading experience to join their advertising operations team. This role is both strategic and executional, requiring deep hands-on experience with key demand side platforms (particularly The Trade Desk, DV360, and Amazon DSP) and a strong ability to lead campaign setup, optimization, and performance delivery.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable mentoring junior team members within a pod-based team structure. This person will play a critical role in ensuring campaign accuracy, integrating AI and automation to reduce human error, and maintaining compliance standards. The role supports both B2B and B2C campaigns targeting U.S.-based audiences.
The Basics:
Duration: 12 months
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location/Onsite Requirements: Onsite 5 days a week in New York City, Chicago, IL or Columbus, OH office locations
Top 3 Required Qualifications:
Hands-On DSP Experience: 5+ years of direct, hands-on programmatic campaign management using The Trade Desk, DV360, Amazon DSP, and other platforms (e.g., Yahoo DSP).
Process & Detail Orientation: Proven ability to manage timelines, internal procedures, and quality control processes to ensure error-free campaign execution.
AI & Automation Integration: Experience using AI tools (e.g., Blackbird or similar agentic AI platforms) and automation to streamline workflows and correct human error.
Other Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Data Analytics, or related field
Strong communication and project management skills
Experience mentoring junior team members within a pod or team structure
Familiarity with privacy regulations and platform compliance standards
Certifications in DV360, The Trade Desk, or similar platforms (preferred)
Experience with automation dashboards, campaign setup tools, and data visualization (preferred)
Advanced Excel skills
Proven track record of delivering on KPIs and budget goals across B2B and B2C campaigns
Key Responsibilities:
Independently manage campaign execution, monitoring, and optimization using both manual and automated methods
QA campaign setups and review work from peers and junior team members to ensure accuracy and compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional partners including LOB stakeholders, data & analytics teams, and pod leads
Develop and implement media strategies across multiple DSPs and campaign types
Oversee budgets, pacing, and bid strategies to meet performance goals
Troubleshoot delivery and performance issues with a solutions-oriented approach
Integrate AI and automation tools to improve workflow efficiency and reduce human error
Mentor junior analysts and associates within a pod-based team structure
Ensure adherence to brand, privacy, and platform compliance standards
Stay informed on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies
