Diecast Technician (Level 1) – Manufacturing Full-Time

Savvy Staffing is seeking an Experienced Diecast Technician Level 1, to support daily diecasting operations and keep machines running safely, efficiently, and producing quality parts.

***Experience in diecasting, machining, or metal processing ***

Pay: $19-$26.00/HR

Location: Cranston, RI

Summary:

This role works closely with Diecast Tenders and senior technicians to maintain equipment, perform inspections, and ensure on-time production.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate hot chamber diecast machines per approved process sheets

Monitor machine cycles, fill metal pots, clear parts, and maintain lubrication

Perform in-process quality checks using basic measurement tools

Troubleshoot basic machine, tooling, and process issues

Complete set-ups, changeovers, and minor machine maintenance

Follow production schedules and support on-time delivery

Maintain clean, organized work areas and complete required documentation

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

3–5 years manufacturing experience preferred

Experience in diecasting, machining, or metal processing

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality
