Adventure Landing, Raleigh's Place To Play since 1989 is now accepting resumes for the General Manager position to lead our Capital Blvd location. At Adventure Landing we sell FUN! The General Manager is responsible for every aspect of the park to include our Arcade, Prize Center, Mini Golf Courses, Batting Cages, Go-Kart Track, and Kitchen Area. Specifically, to ensure that the park operates in a safe, clean, and efficient manner. This position requires that you are actively involved in all park operations, marketing, and sales.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform in a positive, friendly, professional, and alert manner.
Handle guest issues properly within company guidelines.
Assist and support in all operating areas as needed.
Know park policies and procedures.
Monitor the on-going safety of the park.
Conduct and ensure good communications with staff.
Conduct constant site inspections to inspect staffing, potential safety issues, and overall cleanliness of the facility throughout the day.
Coach, praise, and motivate the park staff.
Develop, monitor, and exceed our guest’s expectations.
Ensure that quality is maintained at all times.
Strive to look on how to improve the facility through new ideas.
Develop labor templates and ensure that they are followed once approved.
Research and approve all park expenditures within company guidelines.
Ensure that all state and federal labor laws are being followed.
Ensure that attractions and overall facility are in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the amusement / hospitality industry.
Must be a “hands on” leader with a positive attitude who is prepared to work any park position as needed.
Must be willing to have a flexible work schedule and be available to work weekends and some night shifts.
