Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday 8-5 depending on availability
Santa Barbara Auto Group is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Business Office Scanner to support our accounting and administrative operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring dealership paperwork is accurately scanned, indexed, and stored in compliance with manufacturer and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Scan and index dealership documents including deals, titles, contracts, and accounting paperwork
Ensure all documents are complete, legible, and properly categorized
Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
Handle sensitive customer and financial information with strict confidentiality
Assist business office staff with document retrieval and audits
Support compliance with state DMV, lender, and manufacturer requirements
Qualifications
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior office, clerical, or dealership experience preferred (but not required)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic computer skills and familiarity with scanners and office software
Ability to work efficiently with high volumes of paperwork
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
