Körber Pharma Packaging Materials US is in search of a skilled Mechanic to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and Preventive Maintenance. The incumbent will also be responsible for applying basic fixes to the building, its systems and equipment and ensure the facility is tidy and functional. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Support daily plant operations and preventative maintenance measures
Maintain all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and control equipment throughout the plant and office safely and effectively to meet organization requirements
Strong Electrical and Controls, Mechanical, Plumbing, Hydraulics and Pneumatics
Key Responsibilities
Complete all assigned work in accordance with work order and job plan set forth by Facilities Manager.
Identifies, repairs and documents electrical and mechanical malfunctions
Provide Electrical troubleshooting, PM and repair to all equipment with controls, drives, relays, starters, and PLC systems
Provide mechanical troubleshooting, PM and repair to all equipment with power transmission such as pumps, belts, gears, pulleys, bearings, sprockets, chain, shafts, motors, reducers, alignments, tension and adjustments
Construct and communicate shift reports with Facilities Manager
Ensures completion of assigned work orders, observations and inspections
Production support, answering calls for maintenance support and repair of equipment and building
Perform equipment PM's, repairs, rebuilds, and installation
Conduct and participate in root cause analyses to eliminate sources of failure in equipment
Perform inventory of critical parts and supplies for maintenance operations
Ensure overall safety, housekeeping and shop cleanliness are met
Requirements
Preferred experience working on Heidelberg presses, Bobst Die Cutters and Bobst folder/gluers.
Proven experience in maintenance of highspeed manufacturing equipment
Proven experience in Facilities maintenance, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
Experience using hand and electrical tools
Ability to read technical manuals, drawings and schematics
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Physical stamina and dexterity
Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Must be able to work 2nd shift
