Job Description
Position Overview
Seeking a highly skilled Lead IT Systems Manager to oversee CJ3 Information Technology Systems supporting USFK/CFC operational command and control. This position manages day to day operations across NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and CENTRIXS K mission networks in a TS/SCI environment.
The Lead IT Systems Manager ensures high availability, cyber compliance, and lifecycle management of all CJ3 IT systems supporting real time operations during peacetime, exercises, crisis events, and wartime missions. This role is essential to sustaining dependable, secure IT capabilities for mission command systems across USFK/CFC CJ3.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage CJ3 IT operations across NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and CENTRIXS K networks.
· Ensure system availability, lifecycle management, cybersecurity compliance, and continuous readiness.
· Oversee account management, permissions, patching, IA controls, and DISA inspection readiness.
· Coordinate system operations with USFK J6, DISA, Signal units, and joint/combined partners.
· Maintain network diagrams, IT inventories, configuration baselines, and service tracking systems.
· Support 24/7 mission essential operations, surge requirements, exercises, and contingency tasks.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology OR 7+ years of relevant IT experience.
· Meets IAT Level II DoD 8570/8140 certification requirements.
· Meets IAM Level I DoD 8570/8140 certification requirements.
· Experience leading IT teams in DoD operational or field level environments.
· Strong understanding of classified network operations and cybersecurity standards.
Additional Information
· This position cannot be combined with the COP Lead role.
· Prior OCONUS or mission essential DoD experience is highly preferred.
