Sales and Client Representative
American Family Insurance – Local Agency
Compensation: $55,000 – $85,000 per year (Base + Commission)
Base Salary: $40,000 (plus uncapped commission)
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Sales Representative to join our growing American Family Insurance agency. This role focuses on building long-term client relationships while helping individuals and families protect what matters most.
This position offers a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission, with flexibility to work both in-office and out in the community developing new business opportunities.
Compensation Structure
Base Salary: $40,000 annually
Total Expected Earnings: $55,000 – $85,000+ per year
Uncapped commission potential
Bonus opportunities available
Responsibilities
Generate and follow up on new business leads
Develop referral sources and community relationships
Meet with prospective clients to assess insurance needs
Quote and sell Auto, Home, Property, Casualty, and Life policies
Cross-sell additional coverage to existing clients
Maintain strong follow-up and pipeline management
Participate in community networking events
Qualifications
Property & Casualty License required (or willingness to obtain before start date)
Life Insurance License preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Sales or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
