Summary:

The Custodian is responsible for providing support services as needed in their enclave. Responsibilities include following the schedule set forth by the Custodial Supervisor. Demonstrates the ability to make decisions independently and ensure that their workload is handled each day.

This position reports to Front Royal, VA facility.

Job Description:

Works collaboratively with the Custodial Lead and Supervisor to complete assigned tasks while maintaining high standards of quality, customer service, professionalism, and attendance.

Follows schedules, policies, and instructions; operates custodial equipment after training; communicates issues promptly; and supports other areas as needed.

Builds positive relationships with staff, vendors, and community partners, meets deadlines, participates in required meetings and trainings, maintains accurate records, and represents the organization through appropriate dress, demeanor, and flexibility in duties.

Work Environment:

Must complete all security clearance forms before the start of contract and adhere to all security procedures, regulations and policies while working within the site throughout the contract term.

The building ID must always be worn in plain view.

This job operates in a professional office environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.

The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Requirements

Must be able to read, write, and count accurately.

Work well with co workers and others.

Demonstrate the ability to complete tasks and assignments independently.
