Job Title: QA/QC Program Engineer VJob Description We are seeking an experienced ME QA/QC professional to join our team, focusing on developing, monitoring, and improving quality assurance and control programs for data center construction projects.
This role requires strong cross-functional coordination, technical expertise across multiple disciplines, and hands-on experience with QA/QC processes, documentation, and tools.
The successful candidate will be adept at training, auditing, issue resolution, and leading quality initiatives in complex mission-critical environments.
Responsibilities + Develop and monitor quality program metrics to evaluate project performance.
+ Analyze metrics to understand root causes of trends and work with applicable parties to correct issues.
+ Assist with the development of on-site partner construction QA and QC teams.
+ Provide training to personnel regarding awareness and quality procedures.
+ Coordinate quality issues between design, construction, and facility operations teams.
+ Audit QA/QC activities of staff and subcontractors to assess conformance with procedures.
+ Examine mechanical engineering and plumbing submittals for compliance.
+ Perform quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance.
+ Develop, review, and approve construction quality procedures, checklists, and test procedures.
+ Recommend and verify effective implementation of corrective actions for non-conformances.
+ Review commissioning agent commissioning scripts and provide feedback.
+ Assist construction manager in reviewing turnover documentation for completeness and accuracy.
+ Attend factory witness tests for equipment and systems.
+ Provide onsite visual inspection for construction quality control.
+ Assist in development of project-specific QA/QC dashboards and presentations.
+ Attend required construction meetings and assist in reviewing energization start-up and commissioning schedules.

+ Experience in civil/structural, building envelope, mechanical, electrical, and I&C disciplines.
+ Experience leading QA/QC and Cx programs.
+ Experience in contractor, consultant, and vendor management.
+ Experience in mission-critical power and cooling infrastructure.
+ Prior experience with construction quality tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications + Self-driven, able to make decisions without additional support.
+ Work independently and maintain high performance.
+ Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and controls systems across construction phases.
+ Strong experience reviewing design documents, submittals, test procedures, and vendor documentation.
+ Proven skill interfacing between design, construction, commissioning agents, operations, contractors, and vendors.
+ Expertise in site inspections, audits, turnover reviews, and verification of installed systems.
+ Ability to build, mentor, and coach QA/QC teams and lead difficult conversations.
+ Capability managing consultants, subcontractors, and equipment vendors.
+ ACC Autodesk knowledge.
Work Environment This position requires onsite work in the office with travel to a data center construction site located approximately 2 miles away.
The role involves working in a complex, mission-critical environment where strong cross-functional coordination and technical expertise are essential.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of New Albany, OH.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $105.00/hr.
