Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services has an immediate opening for an energetic, organized, business-minded individual that will be the first point of contact as a Pet Parent Coordinator. This person should love dogs- and, upon successful completion of training, you can even bring YOUR dog to work with you! What a bonus!

About the Pet Parent Coordinator Role:

The focus of this job is making connections with Pet Parents and their pups.

Greet everyone who walks in or out of Dogtopia.

Answer Pet Parent questions over the phone and in person.

Check pups in and out of daycare.

Share information about our daycare packages and memberships with Pet Parents.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Must be energetic, proactive, and a creative problem solver.

Excellent sales and customer service skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment and at times stressful environment.

Must have a friendly and professional phone and email etiquette.

Jack of all trades, roll up your sleeves type of person. This role is integral in growing the business alongside the General Manager.

Not afraid to jump in whenever and wherever is needed. Committed to the success of the team and not just the individual role.

Education and Experience:

1-2 years in a sales or customer service-related role

Excellent customer service skills

Previous sales experience (preference for prior work in a sales quota structure)

Functional computer skills required – MS Office basic programs (word, excel), Internet, Basic computer program software use.

High school diploma required.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.

Must be able to check dogs in and out and manage leashed dogs during the check in process.

Other Requirements:

Must love dogs.
