Nurse Practitioner NP

Job Description

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our Peoria, Illinois Team focusing on providing high quality Occupational Health patient care. This position is Monday-Friday, no call!

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses

Provide all necessary treatments for acute injuries to include prescribing medication and necessary wound care.

Order and review appropriate imaging

Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patient.

Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities

Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

Qualifications:

Completion of a reputable nurse practitioner program

Previous experience in nursing or other medical field

Ability to build rapport with patients

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong leadership qualities
