Job Title: OperatorJob Description
As an Operator, you will be responsible for the setup, start-up, adjustment, and operation of equipment, ensuring proper shutdown and changeovers to minimize downtime. Your role requires analyzing and solving problems, working collaboratively with others, and maintaining a focus on food and human safety. You will be tasked with operating equipment used in the preparation, mixing, processing, finishing, and packaging of products.Responsibilities
Setup, start-up, adjust, and operate equipment while ensuring proper shutdown and changeovers.
Analyze and solve operational problems.
Work collaboratively with team members.
Read, interpret, and complete documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Monitor, record, and evaluate equipment performance.
Ensure food and human safety as a top priority, partnering with the team to identify and eliminate risks.
Notify maintenance staff of complex adjustments or operational problems.
Use raw materials in proper rotation and report any signs of product tampering.
Train fellow and new associates.
Assist the supervisor in identifying problems and providing solutions.
Maintain cleanliness on the production line and keep equipment and work areas organized and sanitary.
Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training.
Comply with all GMPs for food safety and quality.
Support quality management systems, continuous improvement programs, and preventative maintenance programs.
Communicate effectively with other production operators and management.
Participate in PPE initiatives.
Review completed process paperwork for accuracy.
Maintain and update shift reports in response to production needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills
Forklift experience is a must.
High School Diploma or Equivalent Certification (e.g., GED).
Previous manufacturing knowledge.
Proficiency in basic computer skills.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting.
Ability to work in different temperatures.
Trained on or able to train on laboratory equipment such as refractometers, CO2 meters, scales, pH meters, water activity meters, temperature probes and gauges.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of HACCP, Juice HACCP, SQF, and GMP is highly preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Strong organization and time management skills.

This is a non-temperature-controlled environment, with conditions being very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Steel toe boots are required. The facility operates 24/5 with mandatory overtime, making it 24/6. The night shift runs from Sunday to Friday, 10pm-6am. Dress appropriately for the elements.Job Type & Location
