Full Stack Engineer

Their programs support learners from elementary through high school and are used in all 50 states, across 21,000+ schools, serving over 10 million students.

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join a growing team supporting a leading U.S.

education technology company.

In this role, you will design and build scalable, high performance backend and frontend solutions using modern JavaScript/TypeScript technologies.

You will work across a cloud native architecture, collaborating with cross functional teams to solve complex technical challenges, improve system reliability, and drive technical excellence.

Languages & Frameworks: Node.js, JavaScript, Python APIs: RESTful APIs, GraphQL Data Stores: PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Snowflake Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS (AppSync, Lambda), Serverless, Terraform, Datadog Testing: Jest, WebdriverIO, automated testing practices * Design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-performance solutions using JavaScript / TypeScript * Lead technical decisions in Node.js backend development and modern frontend frameworks (e.g.

React) * Identify and resolve performance, scalability, reliability, and security issues across complex systems * Participate in and drive code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical improvements * Improve system observability, monitoring, logging, and error handling * Ensure high code quality through testing, documentation, and CI/CD practices * BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree * 5+ years of professional software development experience * 2+ years experience with Typescript * 2+ years experience with a modern frontend framework (e.g.

React) * Experience with NodeJS server-side development * Experience with database technologies (ideally NoSql DBs and MongoDB) * Experience (professional or personal) with using and integrating the latest AI coding technologies: e.g.

LLMs, Model Context Protocol, Claude Code, Github Copilot * Strong problem solving ability and experience working within complex systems and large code bases * Strong communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work in a self-driven way
