Job Description

Job DescriptionLead Critical MEP Operations on Complex, High-Profile Projects

Take ownership of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems from installation through final turnover. In this role, you won't just coordinate trades - you will drive performance, mitigate risk, and ensure seamless system delivery.

What You'll Drive and Deliver:

Direct and coordinate installation of all MEP systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, low voltage, and fire protection to ensure 100% alignment with plans, specifications, and governing codes.

Lead subcontractors and trade partners to maintain schedule integrity, quality standards, and cost control.

Develop, manage, and proactively adjust project schedules, implementing recovery strategies to keep milestones on track.

Champion a zero-incident safety culture by enforcing site safety programs and regulatory compliance.

Partner with owners, architects, and engineers to resolve field challenges quickly and effectively, minimizing delays and rework.

Oversee inspections, commissioning, system startup, turnover, and end-user training to ensure operational excellence at project completion.

Maintain detailed daily reporting on MEP progress and play an active leadership role during preconstruction planning and coordination.

We're seeking a results-driven MEP professional who brings both technical expertise and leadership presence to complex construction environments.

Proven experience leading mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction scopes on commercial or large-scale projects.

Deep understanding of building systems, trade coordination, and modern construction methodologies.

Ability to confidently interpret contract documents, construction drawings, and technical specifications with accuracy and precision.

Proficiency in scheduling and project management platforms, with working knowledge of BIM coordination tools preferred.

Demonstrated leadership, clear communication skills, and a track record of solving complex field challenges under pressure.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline - or equivalent hands-on project experience.
