Job Description
Affiliated Foods Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Retail Support Member to join its’ Retail Support Team. Prefer a minimum of 1yr Grocery Retail Industry experience in merchandising and stocking.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Resetting product on displays and shelving according to store layout (planogram schematics)
· Analyzing potential opportunities to improve efficiency of space concerning merchandising
· Dismantling, reconfiguring, assembling, and setting up shelving, racking, and various fixtures
· Replacing price tags on merchandise according to product specification
· Assisting member stores with product placement to attract and improve sales
· Attending all required Trade Shows
·Company vehicles are used to get to and from job sites
· Traveling intrastate and interstate within a 9 state area (overnight travel)
Must be able to multi-task and efficiently complete assignments in order to meet deadlines in a timely manner. Must be self- motivated, self-directed, able to work independently as well as a team. Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, and lift equipment continuously. Must display a prominent level of professionalism, confidentiality and competent customer service in order to communicate with various levels of management within Affiliated Foods, including its’ subsidiaries, buyers, vendors, member stores, distributors, etc. Bi-lingual a plus. Will work under the direction of the Retail Support Director and complete all other assigned duties as instructed.
