About the job: Cloud and Data Engineer (Legaspi, Albay)

Work Setup: Open to remote applicants. Priority are those willing to work onsite (Legaspi, Albay)

Work Schedule: Morning Shift

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as a data engineer with proven delivery across complex projects.

Strong stakeholder-facing capability; able to manage client interactions, gather requirements, and present solutions effectively.

Strong experience designing and managing Azure cloud infrastructure.

Hands-on expertise in data engineering tools (Databricks, Delta Lake, distributed compute).

Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Scala, or R).

Solid understanding of DevOps best practices, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code.

Experience building Power BI models, dashboards, and optimized data structures.

Excellent technical documentation and solution design skills.

Key Responsibilities

Design and manage Azure cloud environments with a focus on networking, Entra ID/Active Directory, managed identities, and secure access.

Build scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms using Databricks, Delta Lake, and distributed compute frameworks.

Develop and optimize semantic models and reports using Power BI and other BI tooling.

Write robust SQL, Python, Scala, or R code for data transformation, automation, and analytics workflows.

Implement CI/CD, IaC, and cloud automation using Terraform and DevOps pipelines.

Produce high-quality architectural documentation, technical designs, and reusable patterns.
