Responsibilities

Analyze customer RFQs and specifications for feasibility

Provide thermal calculations, coil sizing, and performance estimates

Support mechanical layout in collaboration with drafting team

Recommend optimal fin/tube geometries and refrigerant paths

Assist with technical documentation for quoting or customer review

Participate in virtual project reviews as needed Qualifications

Mechanical or HVAC Engineer with 5+ years in refrigeration design

Strong understanding of vapor compression systems and heat exchangers

Experience with modeling tools (CoolPack, REFPROP, EES, or similar)

Familiarity with AHRI and ASHRAE standards

Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar for layout review

Past experience with OEMs (e.g., Modine, Lennox, Heatcraft, etc.) a plus

Able to work independently and manage deadlines
