Wespath, recognized as a 2017-2025 Chicago's Best and BrightestCompanies to Work For® and a 2018-2025 National Best and Brightest Companies toWork For®, has an opportunity for a Treasury Analyst that is responsible fordesigning and implementing processes to manage liquidity, cash forecasting,banking relationships, and short-term investments for an investmentmanagement/benefits administration firm overseeing $27 billion of assets. Theanalyst is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills that leads thecentralization of all cash management operations. This role is a combination ofhands-on day-to-day execution and driver of strategic cash managementimprovements.
More specifically, as a Treasury Analyst you will have thefollowing key responsibilities:
Treasury FunctionBuild-Out
Develop and implement Treasury policies, procedures, and controls.
Design cash management and forecasting models to optimize liquidity.
Establish banking infrastructure and manage relationships with financial institutions.
Evaluates, develops and implements cash management software and systems to optimize efficiencies and increase cash flow forecasting. Cash &Liquidity Management
Monitor daily operating and investment fund cash positions and ensure adequate liquidity.
Oversee short-term investments and optimize returns within risk guidelines.
Implement cash forecasting models to optimize liquidity management.
Execute cash movements, including wire transfers, redemptions, and subscriptions.
Reconcile cash transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Manages fund liquidity by scheduling cash flow instructions, communicate with Internal and external parties with expected and unexpected liquidity changes/needs. Risk Management
Identify and mitigate financial risks related to cash.
Implement controls for payment security and fraud prevention. OperationalExcellence
Partner with Accounting, Operations, and Investment teams to streamline cash flows.
Drive automation and efficiency in Treasury processes. Reporting
Prepare Treasury reports for senior management and regulatory compliance.
Support audits and internal reviews related to cash and liquidity. TreasuryAnalyst Benefits and Compensation:

The compensation range for this position is $97,000 - $107,000 with a bonus opportunity and customary benefits. Final compensation will be set based on the hired applicant's qualifications (education, training, and/or experience related to this role), and as such, may fall outside the range shown. #LI-CW1 #LI-hybrid
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
2-5 years of treasury experience in financial services or corporate environment.
Strong understanding of cash management, liquidity planning, and banking operations is a plus.
Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and ERP platforms.
