Process Engineer

Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Round Block Process Engineer to join their team.The Round Block Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing production processes to ensure efficient and high-quality foam block manufacturing. This role involves process improvement, formulation development, equipment maintenance, and personnel training. The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background, experience in the polymer industry, and a problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities:

Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

Develop and modify foam formulations to meet customer specifications and organizational goals.

Ensure proper functioning of production equipment through routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Train operators and technicians on safe and efficient operating procedures.

Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Analyze production data to identify trends, identify areas for improvement, and track performance metrics.

Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.

3+ years of polymer and/or foam manufacturing experience.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including foam production.

Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
