Get to Know Your Team:

UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 432 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups. Responsibilities

Performs CT studies/ procedures for patients of all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric) utilizing ionizing radiation and treatment of disease.

Functions under the general supervision of the CT supervisor and in cooperation with the radiologists.

This position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Associate degree in Radiography from an accredited college

Upon completion of an accredited radiology program, the employee will have 90 days to become ARRT registered and licensed through the Texas Medical Board.

BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

2 years as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist Preferred

CT Experience Preferred
