Machine Adjuster / Trainee Machine Adjuster

Information about the Company: Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes. Hiring immediately for Envelope Machine Adjusters for 12 hour rotating shifts (2 days and 2 nights required) in our Williamsburg, PA plant.Envelope Machine Adjuster Pay/Schedule:$23.83/hr + shift premium $0.35/hr.2 days and 2 nights required: Day shift 7am -- 7pm / Night shift 7pm -- 7amMandatory Overtime is required for 1-2 days during this busy seasonEnvelope Machine Adjuster Responsibilities & Daily Duties:Sets up and adjusts converting equipment for safe and efficient operation.Start-up, adjustments involving close tolerances, maintenance, and troubleshooting; Change window rolls (overhead).Assists in adjuster/operator training; Provides coverage if neededExamines product to ensures quality process is followed; Minimizes waste.Performs preventative maintenance to ensure consistent quality production.Overtime as needed; Compliance with safety rules and regulations.Maintains clean machine and work area (sweeps, removes waste, etc).Other duties and assignments as required.

Envelope Machine Adjuster Requirements/Qualifications:-The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent.Candidates with direct envelope: 3-4 years experience is preferred.Candidates with some or no direct envelope: a minimum of 2 years months of relevant mechanical experience is required.Advanced mechanical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler; basic computer skills.Flexibility required with machine assignment.Envelope Machine Adjuster Physical Requirements & Work Environment:-Regular standing, walking, carrying, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping.Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds with assistance.Exposure to production equipment, noise, hazardous materials (inks, glue, etc.).Must be able to work in hot or cold weather; Mental alertness.Maintain high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift.Cenveo is an EEO Employer
