Primary Purpose: Increases visibility through effective presence, merchandising and demos to increase sales; ensures POG compliance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Merchandising:
Maintains store shelves by observing displays of company lines; removing damaged or freshness-dated products; tidying store shelves; providing optimum display of products.
Maintains inventory by restocking shelves with product from inventory; observing inventory levels; prompting store management to reorder when levels appear low.
Sell in special promotions by setting-up displays at endcaps; checking daily on special promotions; removing promotions at end of special promotion period.
POG Resets: Work with store on implementing new POG's and participate in resets
Ensure that pricing and POS signs are accurate and timely
Put up and replenish coupons, in a presentable and clean manner
Works checklists 1010 Hit List & Navy/Zero scans report, individual manufacturer checklist and work with store
Identify and pull expired products or products that need to be marked down that require to be addressed
Sales:
Work with store to secure secondary location (endcap, clip strips, tables) to promote sales growth
Create appealing and eye-catching merchandise displays
Ensure shippers are positioned in high traffic and appropriate areas of the store floor
Change displays to promote new product launches and reflect seasonal themes
Schedule or Perform Demos Communication:
Liaison between S&K clients and store personnel
Read and respond to emails, texts, and phone calls Other Duties:
Adheres to all S&K policies and procedures stated in the Employee Handbook
Adhere to NEX, AAFES, MCX and CGX vendor policies
Ability to adapt to procedural and workflow changes
May be involved in cross training in other areas of operations WORKING CONDITIONS
Work Hours: Ability to work in various shifts and days; to include holidays
Equipment Use:
Ability to have access to email
Personal phone with text and email
Hand truck, six wheel / flatbed trolleys.
Scanners
Various pricing devices Mental and Physical Demands:
Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
Must be able to work independently without supervision as part of cohesive team
Ability to sit and stand for periods of time
Ability to carry 40 pounds
Ability to perform tasks requiring kneeling, bending and grasping overhead Qualifications/Licenses/Certificates
2 years of outside sales experience
High School education /GED required
Associate's/Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and web-based applications. Other Requirements
