Responsibilities
Produce high-quality diagnostic images using various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound
Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and maintaining patient safety
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Provide exceptional patient care, including addressing patient concerns and providing emotional support Requirements
Education
Associate's degree in RadiologyTechnology or related field
Completion of a radiology technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Experience:
1-2 years of experience as a Radiology Tech in a hospital or imaging center setting
Experience with various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound Skills:
Strong understanding of radiology technology and imaging principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and safety
EMR - Cerner and OpalRad Certifications/Licenses:
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (R)
Current state license as a Radiology Tech (if required)
