Description:

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the equipment and facilities are properly maintained and in good working order which promotes the safety, quality and effectivity of the plant operations in accordance with OSHA and CWG guidelines.

A Maintenance Technician ensures the implementation of short and long-term strategies for preventative maintenance scheduling and execution, for timely corrective maintenance actions, and general facility maintenance needs.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Willingness to learn different types of systems, apps, software, and interfaces

Willingness to participate in company sponsored trainings (i.e. Stiles University, Arc Flash, etc.) as defined by training matrix

Complete skills assessment with acceptable score according to training program

Some knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Ability to operate high lifts and work at heights

Complete OSHA10 course

Willingness to work multiple shifts and weekends as required

Ability to understand and execute Preventative Maintenance actions

Operate a tablet

Create and/or update workorders and locate spare parts in CMMS

Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.

Physically capable and available to work weekends and/or varied shifts as needed.

Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting preferred.

Basic problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Basic mechanical skills. Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, moving parts, and potentially hazardous materials.

Required to wear PPE, including gloves, safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

May involve exposure to loud noises and hot/cold environments.
