The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery, equipment, and facilities. This role supports safe operations, minimizes downtime, and ensures equipment reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and continuous safety improvements

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with machine operators

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize repairs

Take ownership of equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs

Support building and facility maintenance

Maintain organization and inventory of the maintenance shop and tools

Partner with the Maintenance Manager to address safety concerns

Duties may vary by location Essential Functions

Maintain machinery and equipment in proper working order

Provide on-call emergency maintenance support

Ensure regular, reliable attendance

Perform additional duties as assigned Required Skills & Qualifications

Electrical certification preferred

Corrugated packaging industry experience a plus

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings

Proficiency with shop tools (drill press, grinders, welders, oxy-acetylene torch)

Computer literacy in a Microsoft environment

Strong written, verbal, and email communication skills

Ability to work independently in a professional manner

Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Accountability
