Your Contribution

SUMMARY: Manual and automated operations for cleaning, coating, inspection, testing, cure and framing and handling product in a clean room environment.

DESCRIPTION:

Manual or automated cleaning of glass, packaging, and supplies

Inspect ware, coating, and frame quality

Apply frame to coated optics

Packing and documentation of product shipments

Operation of automated coating equipment and transporting glass through process stages

Test sag and transmitted wave front of glass

Computer entry of production results

Transport glass

Maintain accuracy, efficient work while upholding quality control

Maintain orderliness and cleanliness within work areas

Implement 5S plus safety principles within work areas Other duties as assigned

Your Profile

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

1-3 years in manufacturing environment. Previous clean room experience is a plus.

Ability to use basic computer operations and Microsoft Office systems required.

This position is covered by a union collective bargaining agreement. Starting rate is $25.56 and includes 6 month progression increases up to 18 months.
