Essential Functions:
Engineer
Develops new or modifies existing, embedded programs, AC drive systems, power converters, and electric machine designs. Continue to expand on understanding of process and skills to develop wide ranges of power, complexity, and application of power systems. Projects will include emphasis on commercial details and project management including but not limited to:
Speed and torque controlled motor drive development
Motor development
Development and tuning of regulators including current, speed, torque, EMF, and field weakening
Knowledge of motor architectures, motor design, control algorithms, and dynamics
Understanding of power converter concepts such as buck-boost DC/DC
Embedded programming concepts
Printed circuit board and power assembly hardware design
Modification or development of detailed models and simulation of systems using Matlab and Simulink
Other processes as needed and required for project execution and/or combinations of the above
Participate with others in the project development phases related to the products supported.
Collaborate with Sales team and customers to define and support product requirements.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Electrical/Electronic/Computer engineering preferred.
Experience:
0-10 years of experience involving power electronics design, motor control development, motor design, low level firmware development, and/or control electronics design.
