Role Summary
The SAP Integration Developer is responsible for the health, performance, and evolution of the SAP integration landscape. You will design, build, and support integrations using SAP Process Orchestration, SAP CPI, and SAP ECC/S/4HANA integration tools, while also evaluating and leveraging capabilities within SAP Business Technology Platform.
This role serves as a technical authority for SAP integrations-working closely with functional teams, business analysts, and end users to resolve issues, enhance existing interfaces, and deliver resilient, future-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support SAP integrations using SAP PO and SAP CPI
Partner with functional and business teams to translate requirements into scalable integration designs
Ensure long-term platform stability through monitoring, self-service enablement, and best practices
Build and execute test plans across unit, integration, and cross-platform scenarios
Document integration designs, mappings, testing, and change management
Develop and maintain BPM processes and integration frameworks
Provide system-wide support for complex, business-critical integrations
Mentor team members and help define integration standards and patterns
Continuously improve integration performance, reliability, and maintainability Required Qualifications
7+ years of SAP XI/PI/PO and SAP CPI experience
Minimum 5 years of SAP PO 7.5 and 2+ years of SAP CPI
Strong EDI integration experience (X12, EDIFACT) and SAP IDoc mappings
Hands-on experience with standard PO adapters (SOAP, REST, IDOC, JDBC, RFC, SFTP, B2B)
Experience with Java UDFs, Integration Flows, and Integration Configurations
Solid understanding of XML, JSON, EDI, and enterprise integration patterns (A2A, B2B, EAI)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset Preferred Experience
