Akkodis is seeking a Java Backend developer for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA/Austin, TX. Candidates must have strong expertise in API/microservice design and handson proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $ 60 /hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Backend developer job responsibilities include:

Develop and maintain highperformance, scalable backend systems using Java, applying strong knowledge of design patterns and data structures.

Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices to support distributed application architectures.

Work with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL stores (Cassandra) to ensure efficient data modeling and retrieval.

Collaborate with frontend teams to support integration with modern JavaScript frameworks and ensure seamless endtoend functionality.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices and coding standards.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues while contributing to continuous improvement in a fastpaced environment. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.

7+ years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable Java backend systems.

Strong expertise in developing RESTful APIs and microservices, with handson experience across relational and NoSQL databases.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
