KPMG India’s Digital Government Advisory (DGA) practice helps government bodies modernize public services through technology. It offers strategic consulting, digital architecture, and sector-specific solutions across areas like transport, water, justice, and finance. The team enables large-scale e-Governance, data analytics, and automation to improve efficiency and citizen experience.

>>About the Role:

The Lead Analyst will support Finance & Accounts operations, Bid Process Management, and policy documentation for government and public sector projects. The role involves assisting in the preparation of project documents, financial analysis, process evaluations, and supporting e Governance and public finance initiatives. This position requires strong analytical, documentation, and coordination capabilities.

>>Key Responsibilities:

Finance & Accounts Support

Assist in planning and operational activities related to finance and accounts.

Support tasks involving:

Accounting process review

Financial analysis and advisory inputs

Chart of Accounts preparation

Audit related assistance

Bid Process Management

Contribute to various stages of Bid Process Management such as:

Preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPR)

Business model analysis

Risk and stakeholder analysis

Drafting sections of RFPs, including requirements, functional specifications, payment terms, timelines, and costing details

Supporting pre bid meetings

Assisting in technical and financial evaluation processes

Policy Support

Assist in drafting and preparing policy documents aligned with public finance and governance frameworks.

>>Required Qualifications & Experience:

Experience: 3–15 years

Must have:

Experience working on one e Governance project, and

One public finance–related project in the last 3 years.

Background in finance, accounts, public administration, economics, or related fields is preferred.

>>Preferred Skills:

Experience assisting in DPR and RFP preparation.

Understanding of public sector procurement processes.

Exposure to financial systems, government project workflows, and compliance.

Ability to support risk analysis, costing models, and process evaluations.

Excellent documentation and report writing ability

Good understanding of finance and accounting processes

Effective stakeholder coordination and communication skills

Attention to detail and ability to manage timelines
