Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Machine Operator on the 1st Assembly line, you will operate SMT equipment including Juki Pick & Place machines, Reflow Ovens, Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems, and Wash Machines. Your role will involve setting up and tearing down SMT machines according to detailed work instructions, loading feeders with electronic components, verifying components, and following production documentation.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain SMT equipment including Juki Pick & Place machines, Reflow Ovens, AOI systems, and Wash Machines.

Set up and teardown SMT machines according to detailed work instructions.

Load feeders with electronic components according to setup sheets.

Verify components and follow production documentation.

Make minor machine adjustments and clear machine jams as needed.

Position PCBs on machine fixtures and monitor machine operation.

Perform visual inspection of assembled boards for quality issues.

Complete production records and batch logs accurately.

Follow all safety procedures and protocols.

Essential Skills

Experience in assembly and production line operations.

Mechanically inclined with the ability to stand during the majority of the shift.

Experience in electronic assembly and use of hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

No prior experience required – comprehensive training provided.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Strong vision and hand-eye coordination.

Ability to follow detailed written instructions.

Basic computer skills.

Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work well in a team environment.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
