Job Title: Layout EngineerJob Description The Layout Engineer is responsible for the meticulous planning and layout of the line and grade portion of a project.
This role requires proficiency in the technical aspects of line/grade layout and the use of advanced instrumentation and total station equipment.
The Layout Engineer serves as a technical resource for others in the field.
Responsibilities * Set up and maintain permanent control throughout the entire line and grade portion of the project.
* Utilize Total Station, Robotic Total Station, and Theodolite equipment effectively.
* Engage with the project lead to ensure proper scheduling and sequencing of the line and grade tasks.
Essential Skills * Proficient in the use of Total Station, Robotic Total Station, and Theodolite equipment.
* 5+ years of experience in field engineering, surveying, and layout for a large-scale Commercial, Self-Perform General Contractor, or Concrete Contractor.
* Some knowledge of concrete is highly preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications * Experience with concrete construction is advantageous.

Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Plain City, OH.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
