Akkodis is seeking a Quality Engineer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH(Remote). Candidate must have strong hands-on experience in TOSCA-based automation with required expertise in risk-based testing, integration testing, and model-based automation frameworks.
Rate Range: $38/hour to $40/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Quality Engineer job responsibilities include:
Plan and execute end-to-end testing cycles covering functional, integration, and risk-based scenarios.
Lead complex test efforts by coordinating dependencies and driving testing for integration and end-to-end workflows.
Automate test cases using TOSCA for model-based automation while managing test artifacts in Jira.
Validate backend data through SQL-based checks and perform API testing using Postman.
Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter to ensure system reliability under varied conditions.
Support continuous testing processes through effective test data management, environment readiness, and CI/CD alignment.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related engineering discipline.
6-8 years of hands-on experience in quality engineering and test automation.
Required strong experience in TOSCA automation, integration testing, and end-to-end test planning.
Required hands-on skills in API testing (Postman), performance testing (JMeter), and backend validation using SQL.
Pay Details: $38.00 to $40.00 per hour
