School Based Occupational Therapist Position Summary
As a School Based Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting students across grade levels within an educational setting. You will evaluate functional needs, develop meaningful goals, and deliver evidence based interventions that help students access their learning environment, build independence, and thrive at school. General Information
Schedule: Full and Part time opportunities during school hours (approximately 8:00 am to 4:00 pm)
Pay Range: $30 to $50 per hour
School Districts: National Heritage Academies – Youngstown, Ohio
Work Schedule: 5 days per week, up to 40 hours per week
Daily Hours: 7 to 8 hours per day What You’ll Do
Provide occupational therapy services to an assigned student caseload
Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP development and goal setting
Design and implement evidence based interventions that support student participation and success
Collaborate closely with educators, families, OTAs, and the broader school team
Work together with and provide supervision to COTAs, as applicable
Maintain timely documentation and ongoing data collection to track progress
Complete required Medicaid billing in alignment with school timelines and procedures What You’ll Bring
Current Ohio licensure to practice Occupational Therapy
Strong assessment skills and intervention planning capabilities
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Experience as an Occupational Therapist in a school or educational setting
