Abbey Road Taphouse & Restaurant is a well-established restaurant located in Abbotsford, British Columbia. We are currently seeking ONE (1) Shift Supervisor - Restaurant to support our daily operations and lead our front-of-house and food service team.
Position Details
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Day, evening, night, weekend, and shift work as required
Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: On site – 1851 Sumas Way, Abbotsford, BC
Compensation
Wage: $37.50 per hour
Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Key Responsibilities
As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining high standards of service and food quality. Your duties will include:
Coordinate and lead operations, oversee staff, collaborate with teammates.
Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel; promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
Train/mentor other food service workers.
Maintain production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, food safety, health, and compliance with workplace safety regulations.
Addressing customer feedback, questions, and concerns in a professional manner
Post and prepare required store reports, preparation and utilization of daily food planner.
Maintain accurate inventory on a weekly basis
Maintain food production that ensures the safety and quality of food according to policies, procedures, and department requirements.
Maintain all serving schedules; ensure that all food items are served per menu specifications in a safe and appropriate manner following Abbey Road Taphouse policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required
Experience: 3 to less than 5 years of experience in the food service industry.
Certification: Food Safety Certificate required
Supervisory Experience: Ability to supervise and coordinate a team of 5 – 10 employees
Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of MS Office

Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods
